Pupil 瞳孔

The pupil is the black circle in the center of your eye.
It changes size to let more or less light enter the eye.
When you are in a bright place, the pupil becomes smaller, but in the dark, it gets bigger.
The pupil works together with the iris to protect your eyes from too much light.
Most people’s pupils look the same in shape, but some animals have pupils with special shapes.
Looking at someone’s pupils can help doctors learn about their health.
