Metacarpals 掌骨

Themetacarpalsare five long bones in the middle part of your hand.
They connect the wrist bones to your fingers, making your hand strong and flexible.
Eachmetacarpalsupports one finger and helps it move when you pick up or hold things.
You use yourmetacarpalswhen you clap, write, or squeeze a sponge.
These bones are covered by muscles and skin, so you cannot see them from the outside.
If ametacarpalbreaks, your hand may swell or feel painful.
