Lung 肺

Thelungis a soft, spongy organ in the chest that helps the body get oxygen from the air.
Most people have twolungs, one on each side of the chest.
When we breathe in, air goes into thelungsand tiny air sacs take in oxygen.
Thelungsremove waste gas, called carbon dioxide, when we breathe out.
Healthylungswork best when people live in clean air and do not smoke.
The size and shape of thelungscan change a little when you breathe deeply or run fast.
